The focus of each brand varies, from ensuring fabrics are sustainable, to giving back to local charities and community organizations, and to the ethical treatment of workers in Canada and abroad.

Local Laundry


Based out of Calgary, Local Laundry is proud to offer a wide variety of locally made apparel items that will make you feel just as good as you look! Using a local socially- and sustainability-conscious supply chain, every garment sold by Local Laundry is produced right here in Canada by employees making a liveable wage.


Local Laundry also believes in giving back to charity, by donating 10% of wholesale sales to a variety of organizations, such as the Canadian Red Cross, Rainbow Railroad, and the Women in Need Society.  They have just surpassed $100,000 in total donations, and are on track to hit $1,000,000 in donations by 2030.

Out of Print


Serving bookworms of all ages since 2010, Out of Print is an apparel and homewares company with a literary twist! With products featuring iconic book cover artwork and literary references, you’re sure to find the perfect gifts for the bibliophiles in your life! Since its founding, Out of Print has donated over five million books to communities in need and has supported a wide array of community-based literacy initiatives.

Peace Collective


Founded in 2015, Toronto-based Peace Collective is a lifestyle clothing brand with a commitment to supporting food insecurity initiatives, mental health research and refugee aid.


  • For every garment sold from the Home Is collection, three meals will be donated through partner food banks including Food Banks Canada
  • 15% of the proceeds from every Self collection purchase is donated to the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) Foundation to support mental health research
  • A portion of all proceeds from the Peace collection is donated to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Canada to support refugees forced to flee their homes due to violence
